Kevin Kimsa, a graduate of the University of Waterloo, has spent 3 decades working in the global technology marketplace with a focus on the creation, operational management and funding of new ventures. Kevin launched his foray into the modern Commercial Internet in 1993 through Telecom Operator contracts to establishment ISP services in 9 Caribbean countries, the same year that Marc Andreessen launched the browser. Early product successes included a commercial firewall product, and virtual private financial services network and a billing platform, all prior to 1995. Kevin’s most satisfying venture however, is that of being a husband and father of 6 children.

Mr. Kimsa has sat on the Board of over 25 organizations, including the Centre for Business Entrepreneurship and Technology (University of Waterloo), Toronto East General Hospital, Montcrest School, The Canadian Stage Company, and numerous Technology Company boards.

Recognition

In April of 2003, the Globe & Mail, Canada’s national newspaper, named Mr. Kimsa as one of its Top 40 / Under 40 in its Report on Business magazine. In 2006, Mr. Kimsa was further awarded the designation of Top 10 of the 400 award winners from the first 10 years of the program.
