Who we are

We are a venture capital firm that supports creative entrepreneurs with more than just capital. We also invest time and expertise to help our investees get to market sooner and scale up faster. This guidance is delivered by our fund’s founders, who have themselves started, funded and managed multiple companies with $1 billion+ exits. They are further assisted by a Leadership Council comprised of some of Canada’s most successful business people.

We were founded in Toronto in 2016 and have raised over $100 million from private investors plus a commitment of $25 million from the Province of Ontario and $5 million from the Province of British Columbia. The fund helps early stage technology companies scale up to the global market, helps drive greater success in the Canadian technology sector, and ultimately contributes to making Canada a stronger and more prosperous economy.
